From the road to the official release
Mat Ninat joined TRUST throughout the Au Nom de la Rage Tour as both tour photographer and filmmaker.
From rehearsals and life on the road to backstage and the stage itself, he documented the tour from within — following the musicians and capturing the moments happening both in front of the audience and behind the scenes.
The project ultimately became an official 160-page collector book, bringing together Mat Ninat’s strongest photographs from throughout the tour, with commentary by Bernie Bonvoisin and Norbert “Nono” Krief.
This dual role as photographer and filmmaker created one coherent visual archive across still photography, documentary storytelling and live performance — rather than separate photo and film assignments.
Life on the tour also brought rare backstage encounters with artists including Aerosmith, Anthrax, Iron Maiden and Europe, becoming part of the wider story surrounding TRUST on the road.
